Macchina Espresso Tech is a small family business founded by Scott Rizo who has been part of the hospitality industry for over 20 years. In the last 15 years he has been actively involved in the coffee scene as a highly regarded coffee trainer,coffee roaster and speciality coffee machine technician.
Originally from Mexico, Scott has resided in India and Singapore, and travelled the world before settling down in New Zealand with his Kiwi wife Lisa. In 2020 we welcomed to the world our son Valo.
Scott has successfully rebuilt and customized well over 100 coffee machines and grinders. His vast knowledge and expertise in the operation, repair and service of coffee machines and grinders makes him a reliable and fast technician and puts customers first.
